Our Story
Cactus Grill Boston was born from a love of authentic Latin American cooking and a desire to share the rich culinary traditions of Mexico and El Salvador with the people of Boston. Our restaurant was founded by a family deeply rooted in those traditions, carrying forward recipes and techniques passed down through generations.

Our Cuisine
Our menu is a celebration of two rich culinary traditions. On the Mexican side, guests can enjoy classic dishes like tacos al pastor, carne asada burritos, chicken enchiladas, and fresh guacamole made to order. Every recipe is rooted in tradition, using methods and seasonings that bring genuine Mexican flavors to life in every dish.
Our Salvadorian offerings are equally compelling. We are one of the few restaurants in Boston that takes Salvadorian cuisine seriously, serving traditional pupusas, tamales, and hearty stewed meats that reflect the depth and warmth of El Salvador's food culture. These dishes hold a special place in our hearts and on our menu.
We also believe in accommodating diverse dietary needs. Many of our dishes are naturally gluten-free or can be adapted for vegetarian diners. We encourage guests to speak with our staff about their specific needs — we are always happy to help find the perfect dish for you.
